Building Community at Divinity School: Student Life at VDS

Featuring:

Ristina Gooden, SGA President, is a second year MDiv student pursuing concentrations in Black Religion and Culture Studies; Religion, Gender, and Sexuality; and Pastoral and Prophetic Congregational Leadership. Before divinity school, she worked as an event planner for seven years.

Iman Ali, First Year Representative to SGA, is an MTS student who grew up in a small town in Eastern Kentucky. Iman brings a unique perspective as a Muslim woman of color from rural America. Her background centers around the importance of justice and equality.

Lindsey Longoria, Community Co-Chair for the SGA, is a second year MDiv student concentrating in Spirituality and Social Activism. She is a former middle school Special Education teacher.
